"Predaking the dude who got pulled out of retirement" fits the office AU a million times better and is just plain more plausible than "Predaking the Jurassic Park-ass raptor who figured out how to talk and decided to become a businessraptor," but… you know how I am about dinosaurs…
Not finished yet I just got over-excited and I want to share this with everyone. I’ve already worked on this for 3 hours it’s so hard to draw dinosaurs at a 3/4 angle.
Oh crud I just now found out about the downturned jaw and funny teeth (he’s meant to be a Utahraptor)! Do I try to fix it???????
On the bright side, I accidentally made his legs stubbier than intended, which actually turned out to be about the right amount of stubby!
Heh, the downturned jaw is kind of like the reverse of Velociraptor's upturned snout. Maybe they had similar functions? I've heard it suggested that the upturned shaped of Velociraptor's snout would have somehow helped it with sawing chunks off it's prey during RPR. Maybe Utahraptor did something similar. Or maybe it had a super-specialized diet, similar to Masiakasaurus, which the jaw sort of makes it superficially resemble. Hmmmm
